Educational Qualification : BSc/MSc in Agriculture MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing
Experience : 5-10 years in Agri input sales, with a good network of delears and distributors in Western MadhyaPradesh (bio-pesticides, bio-fertilisers sector preferred)
Skills : A good connect with local dealers and distributors dealing in sales and marketing of Agri input products in Western MadhyaPradesh, eg., Khargone / Khandwa / Badwani / Ratlam/ Indore and adjoining areas. Ability to explain the product application and benefits to farmers.
Key Responsibilities : The incumbent will be responsible for
a. channel partner development – must possess adequate network and must be able to build connect with the dealers and distributors in the MP market for our kind of product (biological products, organica products).
b. channel sales – sales planning and revenue generation through channel partners in different districts of MP
c. farmer connect – ability to develop rapport with local farmers, understand their crops, issues related to crops and suggest customised biologocal solutions for the same
d. conceptual selling – ability to understand the product over view and application to be able to sell concepts and solutions to address issues related to agriculture
e. team management – ability to lead and manage a team of field assistants to generate sales, monitor team performance and manage day to day team operations and work planning
