Biotoilets & Biodigester Tanks

Most public toilet facilities in urban and rural India are poorly constructed and heavily dependent on running water to flush out untreated faecal matter into open drains or an inadequate sewage system. Waste seeps into the groundwater and carries with it diseases such as typhoid, cholera, diarrhoea. This water finds its way into our drinking water and food all along the chain. Solid untreated waste results in sludge build up that disrupts the local ecosystem. Human waste needs to be treated at the first point of collection, so once treated it has no impact on groundwater or the surrounding ecosystem. And we have just the solution. Our sanitation technology does not focus merely on infrastructure but embodies the complete solution with a superstructure, a multi-chambered biodigester tank and carefully curated microbial culture; a holistic solution that can radically change the face of India's gigantic santitation problem.

Our proven technology:

1. is an inexpensive solution that is easy to set up and install
2. is space efficient
3. is self composting
4. degrades organic waste faster
5. curbs the growth of undesirable pathogens
6. produces biogas optimally
7. eliminates odour

The size of my septic tank is 1000 gallons. Initially, I faced numerous issues with my septic tank like generation of foul odour and need of frequent suctioning. However, these issues were resolved once I commenced with the use of Bioclean Septic. I have been using this product for nearly 2 years and it has given me excellent results in terms of maximum odour control and sludge degradation.

Around 30 families reside in this area. We have access to very little water and there was no toilet in our neighbourhood. Walking long distance in search of a safe place posed a major problem. Now Organica Biotech has installed four bio-toilets just beside my house, and this has made my life a lot easier.

  • Villagers, Modimal

Bioclean Bio Toilet is an excellent product which has improved the sanitation facilities of our village. Earlier the women and children of our village defecated in the open. We would worry about their safety continuously. Installing this Bio Toilet was effortless. After installing it, we have witnessed a decrease in the spread of diseases and the foul stench has been eliminated.
