Biogut Aqua and Bioclean Aqua have been tested by the reputed School of Biosciences and Technology, Vellore Institute of Technology and found safe and effective.
The School of Habitat Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai conducted a survey of sites where our sanitation technology was implemented including individual households, community toilets and stand alone sites. Their findings state that our technology makes sanitation in dense settlements possible and offers safety to women in slums. They also find that our technology has an immense positive impact on individuals, society and community at large.
The NSS cell of SNDT University surveyed individual households implementing our sanitation technology (biodigester tank and microbial culture) as well as a community toilet at Mandala which was restored using Bioclean BD. They observed that our toilets could be installed in very small houses and householders and users were very happy with the results and no complaints of sludge buildup or odour emanation.
The sacred cow of effluent treatment
Ineffective reduction of COD and high TDS were the major issues affecting the effluent treatment plant (ETP) for our client, a leading manufacturer of agricultural chemicals, pesticides, fungicides and intermediates, when they approached us for a solution.
Our clients – one of India’s most renowned confectionery and edible oil manufacturers – were dealing with several issues at their plant in Maharashtra. Traditional wastewater treatment solutions were resulting in high levels of COD. Excessive foaming in the aeration tank and high concentration of oil and grease were other concerns when they approached us for a solution.
Our client – an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Abony, Hungary – was dealing with several problems at their plant including sludge build up, high levels of COD, TP, NH4-N, TN and high power consumption. They asked us for a solution.
